Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience building relationships and generating warm referrals with customers.
  • Experience conducting targeted outreach and cold calls to potential leads.
  • Ability to hold discovery conversations, ask effective questions, listen carefully, and translate customer needs into the value of the product.
  • Ability to own a full pipeline from first conversation through signed contract.
  • Ability to secure meetings with prospective customers.
  • At least one of the following backgrounds: selling to councils or charities in the United Kingdom; selling to grantmakers in the United States; or fundraising in the impact sector.
  • For the United Kingdom sector profile, an existing network that can be brought to the role from day one.
  • For the United States sector profile, an existing network that can be brought to the role from day one.
  • Ability to work regularly from the Old Street office in London.
Responsibilities
  • Grow the customer base across charities, foundations, local authorities, housing associations, and National Health Service commissioners in the United Kingdom and increasingly internationally.
  • Spend substantial time with existing customers to generate warm referrals.
  • Send targeted, thoughtful outreach rather than mass mailouts.
  • Confidently cold call potential leads.
  • Attend conferences, run events, and approach prospective contacts to create productive conversations.
  • Have conversations with organisations to understand what they are trying to achieve.
  • Ask questions, listen, and translate customer needs into how the product can help.
  • Own the full pipeline from the first conversation to the signed contract.
