Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree with a concentration in Construction Management, Civil/Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5 or more years of related sales or client-facing experience in the water, wastewater, pipeline, or municipal markets.
  • Demonstrated success developing engineering or construction services, specifically in water, wastewater, or Inflow and Infiltration reduction.
  • Working knowledge of wastewater collection systems, Inflow and Infiltration concepts, and common Inflow and Infiltration investigation and rehabilitation methods.
  • Proficiency with Customer Relationship Management platforms, complex spreadsheets, databases, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory to visit clients, attend industry events, and support project pursuits.
Responsibilities
  • Define and execute territory and account-level sales strategies focused on Inflow and Infiltration reduction projects, including assessment, design, and rehabilitation work.
  • Generate and qualify Inflow and Infiltration related opportunities by targeting communities and utilities experiencing capacity constraints, Sanitary Sewer Overflows, or regulatory pressure.
  • Perform structured account planning to identify, develop, and close engineering and construction programs, including multi-year wet weather and consent decree driven initiatives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with consulting engineers, municipal decision-makers, utility managers, and industrial clients to position the company as a partner for investigation and rehabilitation.
  • Collaborate with internal engineering, project management, and operations teams to shape technical solutions for defects such as defective joints, cracked pipes, and leaking laterals.
  • Conduct customer meetings and technical presentations regarding the operational, financial, and regulatory impacts of Inflow and Infiltration and the value of trenchless rehabilitation technologies.
  • Prepare proposals and recommend contract prices for studies and construction projects, including executing bid strategies and providing input into estimating.
  • Develop and maintain opportunity pipelines and sales forecasts for Inflow and Infiltration related work within the Customer Relationship Management system.
  • Gather and communicate market intelligence on program funding, regulatory drivers, competing technologies, and local procurement practices.
  • Provide input into the development of marketing content, case studies, and educational materials focused on Inflow and Infiltration solutions.
  • Support internal budgeting and forecasting by tracking booked projects, backlog, and revenue projections.
  • Develop and refine key performance indicators and dashboards to track program wins, project size, and conversion rates.

Azuria Water Solutions has acquired Waterline Renewal Technologies, an Ottawa, Illinois-based provider of trenchless infrastructure rehabilitation solutions. Financial terms were not disclosed. Waterline manufactures engineered products and equipment for wastewater and stormwater infrastructure rehabilitation across residential, municipal, commercial and industrial applications. Its portfolio includes brands such as Perma-Liner Industries, LMK Technologies, LightRay and APM, all manufactured in the USA.
