ICF is seeking a Senior Stakeholder Engagement Manager to support a federal agency’s science and engineering innovation program. Your work will contribute to enabling the U.S. to uphold its leadership in innovation in science and engineering. You will develop and execute the program’s stakeholder management plan and deliverables for nationwide program expansions.
It presents a great chance to influence stakeholder relationships, expand the program’s outreach, and create valuable engagements that encourage growth and innovation at local events. The primary responsibilities include improving stakeholder interactions, recognizing, and addressing their requirements, and creating an atmosphere promoting collaboration, innovation, and sustained engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the creation and execution of the program’s stakeholder management plan in collaboration with the support team.
- Conduct extensive research on potential anchor and consortia members to ensure their participation in regional events.
- Establish and nurture connections with scientific and technological research and development (R&D) stakeholders, including researchers, innovators, investors, and more.
- Engage proactively in problem-solving scenarios, ensuring stakeholder interests align with program objectives.
- Oversee project management tasks, including strategic planning, progress assessments, and reporting.
- Administer day-to-day operations such as scheduling meetings, collecting data, and coordinating communications.
- Contribute to market intelligence efforts, ensuring the program remains ahead of trends and changes.
Basic Qualifications:
- A minimum of 10 years’ of experience in stakeholder engagement and project management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Political Science, or a relevant field.
- Must be able to obtain or maintain a public trust.
- Work must be performed within the US.
Professional Skills:
- Experience innovation and R&D programs.
- Comprehensive understanding of the scientific and technological R&D landscape, with the ability to connect and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to be proactive and solution-oriented.
- Excellent communication skills, facilitating seamless collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management, reporting, and strategic planning.
- Ability to multitask effectively, concurrently managing various tasks, communication efforts, and events.
- Adept at multitasking and managing concurrent projects.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:
$84,533.00 - $143,706.00Nationwide Remote Office (US99)
