Requirements
  • You have a B.S./M.S. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or similar discipline.
  • You have 5+ years of experience in formulation chemistry or closely related field.
  • You have a strong understanding of chemistry laboratory testing methods, instrumentation, and data analysis techniques and ability to maintain a clean, organized safe work environment.
  • You have the ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience – demonstrated record of cross functional communication and results.
  • You have an understanding of Food & Beverage and Institutional cleaning products, including formulation, performance testing, customers, product applications and the current regulations governing their use.
  • Ability to manage time and activities to deliver to assigned goals in a rapidly changing environment and, to coach and direct the work of others.
Responsibilities
  • You will supervise the daily activities of a chemistry team responsible for Food & Beverage and Institutional cleaning and disinfection product portfolios.
  • You will provide coaching & training, sets goals, accountable for performance evaluation, plans staff development, and makes people management decisions (including recruitment, promotions, terminations, and compensation).
  • You are responsible for managing the lab and ensures the labs are a safe and organized place to work.
  • You will plan and implement personnel assignments to optimally utilize resources.
  • You will recommend and implement new methods, equipment, and laboratory practices.
  • You will act as a technical lead for Fast Track projects and has application knowledge in a wide variety of technology, microbiology and formulation areas.
