Job Summary:

Operations Dispute Resolution Specialist will be responsible for the research and resolution of disputed invoices related to Operations working closely with our supplier base and accounts payable department.  Reporting to Sr. Director of Operations, Warehouse and Invoice Exceptions, you will resolve disputed invoices; document trends and make recommendations to improve the process; reduce customer and company financial impact of disputed invoices.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Manage incoming problem invoices in the categories Operations is responsible for.
Conduct research of billing discrepancies and errors and resolve each problem invoice.
Create/Obtain/Submit credits/concessions/additional bills.
Assist with supplier credit holds due to disputed invoices.
Document and escalate trends.
Put together actionable recommendations to reduce friction in the process.
Work closely with suppliers and Supplier Solutions to institute effective processes related to order and billing practices.
Reduce concessions in accordance with the KPI for the year.
Appropriately communicate and bill customer when necessary.
Process all disputed invoices in less than 30 days in accordance with the KPI for the year.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Customer centric and/or supplier facing background.
Excellent problem solving skills.
Process improvement experience.
Requires attention to detail and strong communication skills.
Good written, oral communication, time management and organizational skills required.

Education and Experience:

Accounts Payable or general billing experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Must be able to traverse the production facility.
