- An MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school is required.
- Board certification in Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology is required.
- An active medical license to practice in the required state or states is required.
- Experience in telehealth and virtual psychiatric care is required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required to engage with clients in a virtual setting.
- The candidate must be comfortable working in a remote, technology-driven environment.
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations, assessments, and medication management via telehealth platforms.
- Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with therapists and mental health counselors.
- Provide clinical guidance on complex mental health cases.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health records system.
- Work with Medicaid and commercial insurance clients while ensuring compliance with insurance requirements.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide integrated, patient-centered care.
- Stay up to date with best practices in psychiatry and telehealth regulations.
- Experience with Medicaid and commercial insurance credentialing is a plus.
