Job Responsibilities

Perform technical review oftax returns for Individuals, Partnerships, S and C-corporations

Familiarity with Subchapter K rules

Ability to identify and research common tax issues that arise in client engagements

Identify key planning opportunities throughout the year and develop a framework for tax strategies that best align with client needs and goals

Assist in identifying and promoting the development of new delivery capabilities and/or channels to satisfy evolving market requirements

Support the partner team in the development and planning of practice strategy, objectives, and budgets

Provide consultation on business and/or individual tax transactions (if applicable), the related tax implications, consequences, and treatment

Develop responses to IRS and other regulatory and tax authorities’ audits, notices and inquiries

Manage teams effectively to ensure engagement profitability in the short and long term sustainability of practice

Coach and mentor staff and seniors on client engagements and career path

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Tax, Finance or related discipline

Minimum of 4 years of US tax consulting/compliance experience within public accounting

Experience with a wide variety of entity types, partnerships most preferred

Minimum 1 year in a managerial role involving clients and team members

CPA or equivalent credential

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Taxation

Experience with the Financial Services industry supporting Private Equity, Venture Capital, Hedge Funds, and Real Estate

Certain states require us to disclose the pay range and benefits summary for job openings. The compensation range for this position is as follows: $112,200-$151,800 (Colorado and Illinois), $123,400-$167,000 (Washington, New York, and Southern California), $129,000-$174,600 (Northern California). Compensation may vary based on skills, role, and location.
