The Role

As MarketAxess expands both domestically and internationally, we are looking for a highly motivated, experienced and driven FP&A Associate to join the team. As an integral part of our FP&A team, the candidate will be responsible for expanding forecasting, reporting, and analytics across all areas of the organization. The candidate will also be responsible for the delivery of key projects/initiatives, prioritizing the identification and execution of process enhancements, fortifying controls, and improving data accuracy. We are looking for a hardworking individual with a highly collaborative spirit to challenge existing processes, identify solutions, and own implementations with extra emphasis on automation.

How You’ll Help Take Us There

• Support FP&A key deliverables including financial forecasting, management reporting, and performance analytics across the end-to-end business
• Identify opportunities for and implement automation within FP&A workflows, driving innovation and optimization of repetitive tasks to streamline operations and enhance productivity
• Partner with executives in providing ongoing management reporting and financial forecasts for respective business lines or functional departments
• Aid in the ongoing creation / updating of management reporting as business needs evolve; including the design and development of dashboards to track new metrics as they are defined
• Establish and maintain scalable data quality framework and implement automated testing and controls
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish robust controls and measures aimed at ensuring data integrity and accuracy throughout financial processes
• Ad hoc analytics and financial modeling related to recent product performance, new product business cases, competitive landscape, etc.
• Communicate financial change drivers to wide range of senior stakeholders; ability to draw insights from large datasets adjust message based on audience

What We’re Looking for  

• 3-5 years’ experience in FP&A / consulting / investment banking
• Advanced knowledge of financial systems, system integrations, and data control frameworks
• Experience creating automated, value-add reporting and presentation experience to senior-level executives
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize competing deliverables and flexibility to adapt under tight deadlines
• Self-starter with strong communication skills
• Financial services, electronic trading and/or technology industry experience
• Preferred System Experience: Adaptive Planning (Workday), NetSuite, Domo, Salesforce

For job positions in NYC, NY, and other locations where required, the estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $80,000 USD to $115,000 USD. Actual salary may vary depending on job-related factors, which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. You may also be eligible for annual cash incentives, equity, and other benefit programs.
