Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license without major violations.
- Flexibility to work after hours and weekends for events.
- Ability to relate to diverse groups of people and build and maintain strong relationships.
- Strong problem-solving, time management, and communication skills.
- Exceptional oral communication, active listening, and organizational skills.
- Ability to establish strong working relationships in a team setting.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks with strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform walking, climbing stairs, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, stretching, twisting, and reaching.
- Ability to push, pull, or lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to perform continuous repetitive motions and work indoors or outdoors under variable temperature and noise conditions, including exposure to fumes, hazards, dust, mites, chemicals, and biohazards.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness in common areas at assigned sites, including sidewalks, lobbies, restrooms, and public spaces.
- Complete daily cleaning and janitorial tasks assigned by management.
- Pressure wash assigned areas.
- Report to the assigned location in the approved uniform before the work shift begins.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and cleaning standards.
- Interact professionally and courteously with property staff, tenants, guests, visitors, and site personnel.
- Assist management teams with special cleaning or maintenance requests.
- Maintain neat and orderly janitorial closets and storage areas free of debris and hazards.
- Complete end-of-shift documentation and transfer responsibilities to the next shift.
- Assist with setup and breakdown for events or public gatherings when required.
- Monitor cleaning supply inventory and use cleaning chemicals safely and properly.
- Notify management of situations requiring attention.
- Follow cleaning schedules, checklists, procedures, and maintenance standards accurately.
- Document and report safety hazards, maintenance issues, equipment damage, or property damage.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work environment.
- Attend team meetings affecting janitorial operations.
- Fill in for coworkers during absences.
- Address and resolve cleanliness concerns according to established guidelines.
- Maintain equipment through regular maintenance and preventative care.
- Be available for weekend and after-hours work, particularly during events or peak periods.
- Follow company policies regarding call-outs, time off, and timeliness.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
