Requirements
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a logistics-related field, or an additional four years of experience in lieu of the degree.
  • A minimum of ten years of hands-on experience with the Fleet Logistics System, including configuration data management and tracking and managing property items in Oracle Fixed Assets Management.
  • Practical experience with equipment, including its characteristics, properties, and uses.
  • Ability to read and interpret government policy, regulations, and directives and apply those interpretations fully and legally.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Adobe.
  • U.S. citizenship.
  • Ability to multitask and maintain close attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.
Responsibilities
  • Provide Business and Logistics Management Support Services for the U.S. Coast Guard and related Coast Guard organizations.
  • Perform configuration management, configuration data management, and maintenance data management support for U.S. Coast Guard ashore and afloat assets.
  • Provide organizational-level and depot-level support in developing and updating the Configuration Management System.
  • Verify Maintenance Standards, Recurring Tasks, Maintenance Items, Cutter Maintenance Plans, Maintenance Requirements Lists, and CM-SETs.
  • Manage updates, changes, and corrections to Configuration Item Functional Descriptions, associated Configuration Items, and related property values.
  • Collect, analyze, interpret, and provide specialized information about equipment, together with advice to personnel who design, test, produce, procure, supply, operate, repair, or dispose of equipment.
  • Identify and recommend practical solutions to engineering design and manufacturing defects and recommend substitute testing or support equipment when requested equipment is unavailable.
  • Develop, install, inspect, or revise equipment maintenance programs and techniques.
  • Ensure work products are thorough, accurate, appropriately documented, and compliant with established criteria.
  • Perform duties competently and professionally while meeting milestones and delivery schedules.

  • Specific Logistician Level III requirements defined in calls issued under the blanket purchase agreement.
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat, data analytics tools, and Visio.
