What believers are saying

  • Duval County partnered in August 2026, extending the model in a large district.
  • Santa Rosa opened a permanent campus in September 2026; enrollment roughly doubled to 150.
  • EdTech Breakthrough named it 2026 Inclusive Learning Solution, strengthening sales credibility.

What critics are saying

  • Dependence on district contracts exposes revenue to school-board renewals like ECISD's 2026 deal.
  • No visible venture funding or capital cushion increases hiring and expansion fragility.
  • If district outcomes lag, partners can replace Acceleration Academies with in-house recovery programs.

What makes Acceleration Academies unique

  • District-partnered alternative high schools give disengaged students a tuition-free diploma path.
  • Hybrid staffing combines educators, counselors, and enrollment advocates around credit recovery.
  • Florida expansion and twenty-district scale show a repeatable services model.
