Link to Leaders May 14, 2026 The partnership between the two companies results in a proposal that combines insurance and flexible benefits in a single platform, with a single card, and specialized human support always available. Pluxee Portugal and SABSEG, an independent insurance broker on the Iberian Peninsula, have formalized a partnership agreement aimed at providing Portuguese companies with integrated flexible benefits solutions. Thus, through this partnership, the two entities bring together insurance and flexible benefits on a single platform, Cobee by Pluxee. The solution is based on an integrated model that provides a single card per employee, a centralized point of contact for companies, as well as a single specialized contact for Human Resources teams, promoting greater operational efficiency and process simplification. Following the partnership, SABSEG's client companies will be able to integrate the Cobee by Pluxee platform, allowing the optimization and centralization of the management of their benefits plans. The solution aggregates health and life insurance, retirement savings plans (PPR) and capitalization instruments in a single access point, eliminating the dependence on multiple partners and platforms. "With this partnership with Pluxee Portugal, we reinforce our value proposition, providing companies with access to a differentiating solution in the Portuguese market, supported by globally renowned technology and the support of our specialized team," says Carlos Martins, COO and Member of the Executive Committee of SABSEG. According to this professional, "this approach will allow organizations to optimize benefits management and strengthen their ability to attract, motivate and retain talent. Because we believe that technology is even more powerful when there are people behind it." It is worth noting that the portfolio made available by the SABSEG x Pluxee partnership includes, among other benefits, meals, with a digital and physical meal card (Visa), accepted in more than 150,000 restaurants, supermarkets and delivery platforms such as Uber Eats and Glovo; health insurance and life insurance; PPR and capitalization, integrated into the platform; daycare, after-school activities and education; health and well-being: gyms, mental well-being and preventive health; professional training and skills development; public transport passes and mobility support; technology, parking, senior expenses and discounts with partners. Companies are responsible for configuring the benefits they want to offer employees and the respective amounts. The platform allows employees to check coverage, manage benefits and submit reimbursement requests simply, with response times of up to 72 hours. Mert Cetin, Country Managing Director of Pluxee Portugal, emphasizes that "Cobee by Pluxee was designed with the employee in mind - and through this partnership, we ensure that technology is complemented by specialized support whenever necessary, guaranteeing a close, consistent and trustworthy experience."

Pluxee boosts digital benefits and aims for 30% virtual: how will it grow in Peru?

Pluxee boosts digital benefits and aims for 30% virtual: how will it grow in Peru? The employee benefits company expects to grow 15% this year, and strengthen its positioning in the SME segment. By Maritza Saenz 05/04/2026, 06:26 p.m. Updated 05/04/2026, 07:55 p.m. With positive global results and double-digit growth in the Peruvian market, Pluxee, an employee benefits company, aims to close 2026 with 15% growth compared to the previous year, both in terms of digital benefit issuances and number of consumers and market penetration, leveraged by the digitalization of its products. Eduardo Estezo, General Manager of Pluxee Peru, assumed the position a month ago with plans to strengthen the company's digital transformation in the country, where - despite the electoral situation - he observes a marked interest from companies in providing benefits to their staff. "We see a stable macroeconomic scenario. Regardless of the political environment, Peru has had steady growth and we have not felt a recession or decline in the granting of benefits. On the contrary, companies that are committed to providing them continue to acquire them period after period. We currently serve over 3,500 corporations, some with monthly recurrence and others quarterly, and over 600,000 consumers," he details to DĂa 1. According to the executive, the motivation for having Pluxee as an ally strengthens in a context where companies increasingly compete for talent, seek to retain it, and improve productivity. He also details that being regulated by the Ministry of Labor, companies using these benefits access tax advantages that can represent savings of up to 49% on the amount granted to the worker. However, he emphasizes, "the most important thing is to have motivated and productive staff." They rely on digitalization. In that sense, the strategy towards the end of the year is to increase the percentage of digital products, seeking to double the virtualization that currently figures 'on average' between 10% and 11% of the company's billing compared to 8% in recent months. In parallel, through an advertising campaign, they seek to position themselves more strongly in the public mind and drive the use of the application, also reaching an unbanked population. Customer portfolio drives growth. During the first quarter of 2026, the company grew over 15%. This result is explained by three factors in its customer portfolio: the incorporation of new companies, the increase in the value of benefits granted by organizations that are already clients, and the expansion of the beneficiary population. "Globally, in our first half - from September 1 to March 31, according to our fiscal year - compared to the same period last year, we promised high single-digit revenue growth and double-digit EBITDA growth, and that has been achieved. Peru is an important contributor in Hispanic America and has grown even more than the organization globally," details Estezo. Food leads demand. Of the three products the company offers, the line of benefits linked to employee food is the most demanded and represents 75% of annual revenue. The other two: incentives and recognitions, are divided equally in preferences. "When I refer to employee food, I am talking about a product that operates in a closed network, which allows them to purchase basic necessities for their home, as well as eat during their workday. That is its main use," he adds. Bet on SMEs. In a country where informality reaches just over 70% of workers and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) represent more than 90% of the business fabric, the company seeks to strengthen its positioning in this segment, in a context where these benefits are beginning to gain ground as part of a broader process of formalization and professionalization of business. In fact, Pluxee observes a growing intention from SMEs to move away from informality and institutionalize. In response, the company accelerates its strategy by simplifying procedures, so that these companies can grant benefits more quickly, in addition to strengthening its network of affiliated merchants. This approach has allowed SMEs to represent 30% of Pluxee's annual growth. "Globally we are focused on growing in this segment. This does not mean that large companies stop being a fundamental part of our work - we co-create with them; however, we want to consolidate our presence in SMEs, continue growing in large corporations and also serve the public sector," he notes.
