Requirements
  • The candidate must be able to perform housekeeping duties, including changing and arranging linens and towels, restocking toilet supplies, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning, and rearranging rooms after guest checkout.
  • The candidate must maintain rooms according to brand and Island Hospitality Management standards.
  • The candidate must notify supervisors of damages, deficits, or disturbances.
  • The candidate must demonstrate initiative and be able to identify, prevent, and solve workplace problems.
  • The candidate must be able to work effectively in stressful situations.
  • The candidate must be available and approachable to guests while providing guest service.
  • The candidate must regularly stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and lift or move up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 25 pounds frequently.
  • The candidate must have variable scheduling availability based on guest occupancy, season, staffing, and other factors.

Island Hospitality Management has launched IHM Outdoors, marking the inception of a dedicated division focused exclusively on outdoor and resort hospitality. This encompasses RV resorts, vacation rentals, glamping and other outdoor hospitality options.The formal unveiling of the division follows the transition of five RV resorts to IHM Outdoors management.
