Requirements
  • First internships in a fast-paced environment.
  • Based in Berlin or willing to relocate.
Responsibilities
  • This is your entry role into GTM. You will join the commercial team at Augustus. You will learn the playbook for going to market and your mission will be to scale one of our core growth channels.
  • You will either run and scale the outbound system, run fairs across the globe, build the sales enablement system, or build our referral partner engine.
  • Months 1-2: You talk to every team: Sales, AM, RevOps, Product. You understand our customers, products, revenue model, and where the gaps are. You set up your first campaigns, create lists, and work with the sales team on converting the pipeline.
  • Months 3-4: You will own one of our core growth channels, defining the roadmap, scaling our efforts, and taking them to the next level.
  • Months 5-6: Your growth channel has a significant impact on our top-line growth and produces new pipeline reliably. You work together with the GTM team to automate manual processes and set new boundaries of what's possible.

Augustus (Augustus Aero) designed and built advanced communication hardware for small satellites, focusing on CubeSats and high-altitude balloon missions. Its products include a high-performance Software Defined Radio (SDR), a high-speed X-Band transmitter, and the S2DR 1000 Dual-Transceiver Space SDR, all developed in-house for Low Earth Orbit (LEO) CubeSat deployments. The system works by using SDR processing and dedicated RF transceivers to manage uplink/downlink and payload data for space missions, enabling flexible, high-bandwidth communication in a compact form suitable for small satellite constellations. Augustus differentiated itself by concentrating on integrated, compact, space-qualified RF and SDR solutions tailored to LEO CubeSats and ISR/radar payloads, rather than offering broad consumer hardware. Its goal was to supply essential satellite communication hardware to entities deploying small satellite constellations, enabling reliable communications for space missions.

What believers are saying

  • Aeronix Technologies Group acquisition drives transition from R&D to high-capacity production of ISR space systems
  • Augustus Aerospace will deliver over 40 flight payloads by end of 2024 across 15+ programs
  • Augustus Aerospace pioneered space-based sparse array system enabling multi-satellite synchronization for broad-area beamforming

What critics are saying

  • CubeSat communication hardware saturation causes 25–40% price erosion in LEO components within 6–12 months
  • Critical supply chain collapse for X-Band amplifier chips halts S2DR 1000 deliveries to CubeSat constellations in 3–9 months
  • Technology obsolescence from AI-native satellite clearing banks displaces Augustus core SDR business within 1–2 years

What makes Augustus unique

  • Augustus Aerospace engineers flagship S2DR 1000 Dual-Transceiver Space SDR specifically for compact LEO CubeSat deployments
  • Augustus tailors communications, radar, and ISR payloads primarily for U.S. Government aerospace needs
  • Augustus develops in-house high-performance Software Defined Radio, X-Band transmitter, and ISR payloads for high-altitude balloons
