Requirements
- Document service KPI's for customer experience, infrastructure, security and availability for existing and new IT services
- Identify and implement tooling required for measurement as needed (ie monitoring, logging, ITSM and other tools)
- Understand how to baseline, monitor and alert for various KPI's
- Develop automation for managing and monitoring infrastructure and IT services whenever possible for operational efficiency
- Will manage and monitor installed systems, infrastructure and IT services to meet SLA's. (includes customer escalations, incident response, rca's, change management)
- Enable faster and smarter business processes and develop meaningful analytics to identify process inefficiencies
- Troubleshoot operational issues, escalate as appropriate and offer solutions
- Follow standard change management processes. Document and evaluate the impact of required changes to the various systems. Plan, schedule, and communicate changes to be implemented
- Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows Server deployments (on prem and cloud)
- Experience working with IT service platforms (servicenow, jira, etc)
- Python OR Powershell/preferred scripting language
- CI/CD DevOps experience
- Experience utilizing tools and research abilities to resolve technical issues
- Excellent communication skills
- 3-5 years experience in IT Service Managment, Information security, Systems and automation
- Ability to work on multiple concurrent projects
- Ability to understand and follow sometimes complex oral and written instructions
- Strong knowledge of ITIL and ITSM Frameworks
- Agile or Scrum experience
Responsibilities
- Ability to take ownership of any and all aspects of project lifecycle
- Defines customers' needs and functionality, creates and documents milestones, deliverables and timelines
- Ensures high quality delivery within organization guidelines, policies, and procedures
- Collaborate with customer and internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of project. includes planning, validation, user acceptance and operational readiness
- Must be able to work independently and track progress across various projects following Agile/Scrum methodology. Will track and report on all project related metrics to various stakeholders
- Establish standards, tools, and processes to be used by the team and create procedures to guarantee adherence and compliance to those standards
