HB Studios is a driving force in the creation of sports video games and the studio behind PGA TOUR 2K Golf – presently working on Console and PC. We have an opportunity for a Project Coordinator to join our team of developers, creators, and fans, who are passionate about the art and process involved in video game development!

As a Project Coordinator, you will work with a team of professionals to coordinate and deliver the highest quality games on time and within budget. We are looking for an individual with strong interpersonal skills and desire to facilitate processes, methods, and tools that optimize team and departmental performance.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide support to production with planning the work of the development team, including prioritizing tasks and identifying risks and dependencies to keep the project on schedule.
• Collaborate with Production and Departmental Leads to build and coordinate tasks based on project milestones and deliverables.
• Own and maintain the Jira project management tool and educate the team on standard methodology and processes.
• Provide continuous support to all departments with evolving Jira needs and ensuring tasks are created and maintained. 
• Coordinate Sprint planning and loading meetings to assign work across multiple development teams.
• Conduct daily stand-ups and retrospective and review meetings to communicate and address blockers and progress made.
• Manage and communicate risks, dependencies, and change requests that could potentially impact project planning.
• Identify issues with well-considered solutions to facilitate process improvements.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

• Typically 2 to 4+ years of industry experience in Production Services.
• Project Coordination experience shipping a game title, preferably AAA.
• Understanding of the game development processes - production, design, engineering, code, art, or live operations is considered a strong plus.
• Knowledge of project management best practices and methodologies (Agile/Waterfall).
• Experience working with internal and external partners.
• Experience with Project Management (Shotgrid, Jira, Confluence) tools.
• Proven multitasking, design-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Self-motivated individual and excellent team member and work ethic.
