We are a 20 bed specialty unit that cares for patients (pts) with strokes, spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, neurological, orthopedic, multiple trauma, and a variety of other diagnosis. Our program is CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) certified. We follow CARF standards that promote the highest level of quality, value, and optimal outcomes to enhance the lives of persons served. We are committed to Quality Assurance, Continuous Improvement, and Operational Efficiency.
Our techs take 7 pts on days and evenings, then at 9pm go up to about 10-12 pts. Our patients do 3 hours per day of therapy and we follow a therapy schedule for each patient. We work closely as a team with the therapists, PT, OT, ST, nurses, and techs to develop goals and a plan of care to discharge our patients home with family. Our patients stay with us on average about 2 weeks, some 3-4 weeks based off insurance and their progress. We get to know and support our patients and families and enjoy this friendship and trust we develop with them.
