  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar field. Master’s degree preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of quality assurance (QA) experience supporting federal programs
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, keen attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Creative and innovative thinker
  • High regard for safety standards and quality control
  • Able to sit or stand for long hours at a time
  • Previous NIH or federal experience is a plus
Responsibilities
  • Design and implement testing plans for software, systems and services
  • Identify procedures and scenarios for the quality control of products and services
  • Process reviews and inform the development team of defects and errors
  • Communicate quantitative and qualitative findings from test results to the development team
  • Monitor efforts to resolve issues, track and report on progress
  • Ensure that the final product satisfies the product requirements and meets end-user expectations
  • Spot areas for improvement to enhance efficiency
  • Research the current market for similar products and compare results
