View

Rocky Mountain Laboratories provides diagnostic testing for healthcare providers through a network of clinical labs across Utah, Nevada, Idaho, Colorado, Arizona, and Texas, functioning as a third-party diagnostic service. It integrates with providers’ workflows by offering same-day sample pickups and on-site phlebotomy collection. The test menu includes PCR/RT-PCR infectious disease testing, toxicology, clinical chemistry, immunology, hematology, microscopy, coagulation, plus genetic profiling and metabolic health assessments with panels for respiratory infections, UTIs, and wound pathogens. Revenue comes from billable tests accessed via an online payments portal, with a goal of supporting clinicians by delivering a broad, vendor-neutral lab testing capability that fits into patient care workflows.

What believers are saying

  • June 2026 job postings for toxicology supervisor and PCR technologists show active hiring.
  • Multiple courier and accessioning roles indicate continued specimen volume across the western network.
  • Diverse panels across PCR, LC-MS/MS, and phlebotomy create recurring consumables-driven revenue.

What critics are saying

  • March 2026 Utah trademark lawsuit against Prime Labs signals brand defense costs and distraction.
  • Employee reviews on Indeed describe poor customer service, which hurts provider retention quickly.
  • Test-menu breadth demands CLIA compliance across sites; one failed inspection can halt reporting.

What makes Rocky Mountain Laboratories unique

  • 2026 careers page lists multi-state molecular diagnostics, toxicology, phlebotomy, and courier operations.
  • Built In says 2022-founded Rocky Mountain Laboratories LLC has 201 employees.
