Requirements
  • One of the following credentials is required and must be maintained at all times: Licensed Master Social Worker, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, or National Certified Counselor.
  • At least one year of experience in substance use disorder treatment or mental health counseling.
  • Ability to maintain documentation in accordance with Office of Addiction Services and Supports standards, client confidentiality, strong staff and client boundaries, and high ethical standards.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain a caseload of 15 to 20 clients in a residential substance use disorder program.
  • Facilitate one or two mental health groups at the residence as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Conduct assessments to determine clients' mental health needs.
  • Provide psychotherapy to address clients' mental health needs.
  • Perform and comply with medication self-administration oversight duties in accordance with policy.
  • Collaborate with the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner on medication management issues.
  • Facilitate consultations and referrals with other providers.
  • Provide therapeutic intervention services when needed.
  • Provide case management services to support clients' linkages to the community.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
