Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is required.
  • At least 10 years of progressive sales experience in the hospitality or related industry is required.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a senior sales leadership role is required.
  • A proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in luxury market segments is required.
  • Strong understanding of the hospitality industry, particularly in the Middle East region, is required.
  • Expertise in Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions sales is required.
  • Strategic planning and revenue management skills are required.
  • Experience managing and developing high-performing teams is required.
  • Negotiation and client relationship management skills are required.
  • Proficiency in market analysis, budgeting, and forecasting is required.
  • Proficiency in customer relationship management software and other relevant sales tools is required.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Ability to travel frequently within the cluster region is required.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet regional business goals and revenue targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities and market trends to expand the customer base.
  • Conduct market analysis and adjust strategies based on competitive conditions.
  • Lead, motivate, and drive corporate groups and Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions opportunities to the hotel.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the sales team.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and business partners.
  • Negotiate contracts and close high-value sales deals.
  • Maintain customer service levels and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Develop new sales channels and partnerships.
  • Increase market penetration and brand visibility in key territories.
  • Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking activities.
  • Monitor and report sales performance metrics to senior management.
  • Prepare and present regular sales forecasts and business updates.
  • Analyze sales data to improve strategies, target key sectors, and optimize performance.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to align sales efforts with business objectives.
  • Provide feedback on market trends, customer preferences, and the competitive landscape to improve product offerings.
  • Prepare and manage the regional sales budget.
  • Ensure cost-effective sales operations and adherence to financial guidelines.
Desired Qualifications
  • An MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
  • Experience in a multi-property or regional sales capacity is preferred.
  • Additional language skills, including Arabic, are beneficial.
