Requirements
  • Experience in a high-growth, fast paced, remote, and ideally engineering-centric environment
  • Functional expertise across all general areas of HR, including organizational design, planning, employee experience, talent and performance management, compensation, diversity and inclusion, employee relations, policy writing & compliance
  • Broad leadership and organizational development experience including direct team/people management
  • Proven success in designing, developing, and supporting organization-wide talent programs that cover performance and talent development, coaching, succession and headcount planning, and data analytics in a remote-first work environment
  • Significant experience providing strategic counsel and business partnership at the most senior levels within an organization
  • Experience making key decisions regarding use of EOR/PEO in regards to contractors, seasonal and international employees
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and facilitation skills with experience supporting employees at all levels of the organization

Responsibilities
  • Lead a people first organization that supports CodePath’s overall mission and vision, making CodePath one of the world’s "Best Companies to Work For"
  • Build employee-oriented people practices and initiatives that exemplify and reinforce our high-performance culture - one that values ambition, ownership, experimentation, collaboration and first principles thinking, strengthening our culture as we scale from 50 to 175 over the next 5 years
  • Oversee and direct core People functions: talent acquisition, talent management, total rewards, employee relations, compliance, organizational design, training and development, employee engagement, and people database systems
  • Collaboratively strategize and implement organizational design, systems, processes, and programs that optimize org-wide productivity and employee well-being
  • Own the development of our employee centric and data driven People strategy at CodePath to align with business goals and growth targets
  • Lead and grow an existing Talent Acquisition team of three and a HR team of two
  • Act as a strategic partner to CodePath leadership team and managers by providing advice and counsel to senior leaders on topics like workforce planning, org design, and team dynamics
  • Manage the talent function, talent branding, and candidate experience
  • Design and execute initiatives that cultivate a high-performance culture including: a performance review/promotion program, a world-class onboarding experience, and a learning and development program to help employees and CodePath achieve meaningful growth
  • Implement strategies around onboarding, offboarding, compensation, benefits, talent management, employee engagement, succession planning, and employee relations
  • Monitor key People metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of strategies and make data-informed adjustments to optimize productivity
  • Develop, audit, and refine employment policies and practices to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations across all People programs
  • Design and implement programs that foster a sense of belonging, engagement and collaboration across a globally distributed team
