Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Design (Fashion), or related field
  • Five (5) years of progressive, postbaccalaureate experience in Apparel design for Men’s Active, Fleece, and Swim or in the job offered or a related role.
Responsibilities
  • Active/Fleece/Swim fabric content, fabric attributes/properties to highlight the end use functionality of the garment and build on fabric innovation systems specific to Active/Fleece/Swim
  • Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator to create and color flat illustrations (bl/white sketches)
  • CLO digital software program to communicate key items/storytelling for each season and to adjust the fit of garments during 3D prototype reviews
  • Miro to convey the print/pattern and color, the collection perspective of each shop is displayed through outfitting, and product details
  • Long range vision to build into specific product end uses for Active, Fleece, and Swim
  • Product filters and aesthetic filters to deliver a clear and relevant trend POV for the season, researching macro and micro trends with Trend books, WGSN and additional trend forecasting websites
  • Ability to filter research and build key outfitting looks for each season, express fabric intention, support building a seasonal color palette and ability to filter and direct a team to support the creative vision of the season.
