Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required with some additional education preferred in a related area such as Business, Marketing, and/or Sales.
  • 1 year of sales experience preferred.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Microsoft Excel and Outlook) required.
  • Experience working in a CRM (lead management system preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail with problem solving skills.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
  • This position requires availability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
Responsibilities
  • Sells pre-need and at-need funeral services and inventory as well as cemetery services, property and merchandise.
  • Assists families with funeral selections and attends services.
  • Generates leads through a combination of walk-ins, inbound calls and proactive lead generation and prospecting.
Desired Qualifications
  • Some additional education preferred in a related area such as Business, Marketing, and/or Sales.
  • 1 year of sales experience preferred.
  • Experience working in a CRM (lead management system preferred).
