Grants Manager
The Opportunity:
The right mixture of great ideas and effective financial management can create change. In a complex organization, financial and work performance accountability can be challenging. That’s why we need you -- a grants manager who can easily navigate the requirements, policies, and regulations that govern Interagency Agreements (IAs) -- to make sure Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) Global Trade Investigations (GTI)) resources can make the most impact.
As a grants manager on our team, you will create a financial management strategy to help HSI’s interagency grants management program succeed. You will work with the HSI GTI Grants Program Administrator to identify, simplify, and incorporate streamlined processes to monitor execution and performance of awarded grants and interagency agreement portfolios across several programmatic units.
Using your knowledge of applicable regulations, you will review IA funding proposals and submissions and will review and facilitate 7600 A/B actions. You will develop quarterly financial and workplan reports to interagency partners, to include tracking expenditures and monitoring burn rates. You Have:
5+ years of experience with managing grants for the federal government, including financial reporting and monitoring and development of key performance indicators in coordination with subject matter experts (SMEs)
Experience with coordinating logistics for travel and training
Experience with managing multi-million-dollar budgets
Experience working with senior executives in a fast paced environment
Ability to participate in government working groups and training programs related to grant and reimbursement agreement management and execution
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
Bachelor’s degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience with the Federal Financial Management System (FFMS), G-Invoicing, and WebView preferred
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
