  • Up to 50% domestic travel only required
  • Experience in providing Post Release Services and working with immigrant populations
  • Master of Social Work (MSW) or an equivalent degree in psychology, sociology, or other behavioral science or social service field; or relevant behavioral science in which direct clinical experience is a program requirement; or a bachelor’s in one of the aforesaid fields with at least 5 years of clinical experience and may be licensed eligible
  • Fluency in Spanish required
  • All employees must pass a mandatory criminal background check and a bilingual language test for positions that require them
  • Periodic physical examinations and TB clearances will be required, if hired
Responsibilities
  • Provide intensive clinical case management services
  • Conduct home studies and assessments
  • Manage an assigned caseload of post release services
  • Comply with US and ORR policies, procedures, and mandated timeframes
  • Schedule and conduct interviews with care provider staff, children, and sponsors
  • Assess safety on an ongoing basis and identify areas where additional support is needed
  • Maintain telephone contact and conduct virtual and in-person home visits with children and sponsors
  • Provide crisis intervention services and safety planning as needed
  • Collaborate with children and sponsors to develop a safety plan
  • Act as a point of contact or liaison for the child, sponsor, and external agencies
  • Utilize trauma-focused approaches and therapeutic support for children and families
  • Maintain appropriate documentation and safeguard confidential records
  • Identify and report concerns related to children and sponsors
  • Participate in training, meetings, and maintain quality improvement initiatives
  • Travel to conduct in-person post-release home visits in surrounding locations in the United States
