Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years management experience in purchasing and/or procurement.
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience and proficiency of all areas of procurement, common terms and conditions, including procurement execution, estimating, and expediting and is desirable.
  • Energy industry experience is preferred.
  • Understanding of the influence of market conditions on supply chain.
  • Demonstrated ability to improve supply times.
  • Excellent oral, written, computer communication and presentation skills required.
  • Valid Drivers’ License issued by state of residence and in good standing.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee the procurement and delivery to project site of material and engineered equipment for projects within the Federal and Utility business.
  • Collaboratively review scopes of supply developed with engineering oversight.
  • Provide tracking and expediting from day of order, through purchase order milestones, shipping and onsite delivery;
  • Develop strategy for warranty and extended warranty plans;
  • Create and maintain project procurement plans, and assuring proper execution by supply chain throughout the entire project (initial estimates, orders and ongoing deliverables);
  • Support Internal team with equipment performance issues in regard to contract terms;
  • Build high-performing relationships with internal colleagues in corporate procurement group, development, engineering, construction, and operations and maintenance; and
  • Perform other duties as required.
