We are looking for a Legal Assistant/Paralegal to join our Group Legal team on a 12-month fixed-term basis. As the Legal Assistant/Paralegal, you will work closely with all members of the Legal team and report directly to the Legal Associate based in London. The role is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and dedicated professional who wishes to develop with the firm’s explosive growth, working in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.

WHAT YOU’RE GOING TO DO:

• Supporting the governance of the firm by taking minutes of board meetings. This includes acting in all Board Meetings and coordinating meeting notices and documentation.
• Supporting the Legal team with legal and administrative tasks.
• Assistance with company secretarial tasks and other key governance projects. 
• Facilitate annual share transfers and manage other share-related offerings from start to finish.
• Managing the firm’s contract management platform, working closely with the Legal team and Market Data.
• Coordination and management of the firm’s global insurance schedules, working closely with the firm’s brokers and relevant departments within the firm. 
• Management of files and records and the good order of the company’s corporate and statutory records.
• Support with NDAs and contract reviews, where appropriate

• At least 2 years legal and/or administrative experience 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• A diplomatic approach and the confidence to provide support to high-profile company staff and board members.
• Integrity and discretion when handling confidential information.
• A sound grasp of corporate governance issues.
