Requirements
  • Proven professional experience as SRE, DevOps, or Cloud engineer
  • Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes
  • Hands-on experience with at least one cloud provider (preferably AWS)
  • Good knowledge and understanding of at least one programming language (Ruby, Python, Go)
  • Experience defining infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
  • Experience in the definition of CI/CD pipelines using technologies like Jenkins, GHA, or similar
  • Experience working with regulated computing environments that are FedRAMP compliance highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of the FedRAMP framework, its controls and compliance requirements would be an advantage
  • Ability to operate in settings with strong confidentiality and data privacy protocols
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be a U.S. Person (i.e. U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent)
Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain our cloud based infrastructure and related services
  • Build solutions to enhance the availability, performance and stability of our services
  • Promote and implement automated solutions across application deployment, maintenance, and operational activities
  • Troubleshoot issues across the entire stack, from network and OS to applications
  • Performance tuning and optimization of cloud services, including cost saving strategies
  • Drive post-incident analysis according to our no-blame culture
  • Participate in periodic on-call rotational duties
  • Ensure we maintain high availability and durability of our infrastructure
  • Establish best practices for internal teams to ensure FedRAMP and CMMC compliance is always maintained
  • Perform periodic upgrades minimizing downtime for our customers
  • Design, implement and maintain systems for performance and reliability
  • Manage and run backend systems
  • Drive reliability, availability and efficiency improvements for Nozomi Networks Cloud Platform
  • Write and review code, plan and execute upgrades, develop documentation and capacity plans, and debug production issues
  • Build or select monitoring tools and automation to increase efficiency of all teams
  • Assist in achieving and maintain the FedRAMP Certification process
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, security and compliance to define and implement FedRAMP-compliant processes and strategies.
  • Provide oversight and direction for how Nozomi Networks manages continuous monitoring, logging, and auditing of systems to ensure compliance with FedRAMP controls.
  • Stay current with industry best practices, evolving security threats, and updates to FedRAMP guidelines, and apply this knowledge to enhance the security posture of our platform and systems.
  • Drive operational excellence in operations and security processes.
  • Leverage Nozomi Networks ecosystem, to collaborate with counterparts on FedRAMP and CMMC.
