  • Coursework or equivalent experience in quantum mechanics, computational physics/scientific software development, solid state physics, semiconductor devices, numerical analysis, and/or parallel programming
  • Experience in physics-based modeling and numerical simulation, preferably including knowledge of high-performance computing techniques
  • Background in collaborative code development utilizing multiple computer languages, including C++ and Python
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Materials Science, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields
  • U.S. citizenship
  • Ability to meet Export Control compliance requirements
Responsibilities
  • Write and maintain scientific modeling software
  • Generate simulation data
  • Analyze numerical results for quantum devices such as semiconductor spin qubits
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with fellow team members
  • Present ideas and results in technical presentations
  • Contribute to written research reports
