As a defense mission professional you’ll bring your bring your strategic, tactical, and technical expertise to work on projects. You’ll be a trusted advisor to our clients, and we’ll look to you to identify, analyze, and evaluate complex systems, policies, and processes. You’ll use your skills and expertise to assess and advance warfighting concepts with recommendations for capability development that span the DOTMLPF-P spectrum.

You Have: 

• 5+ years of experience with DoD organizations

• 2+ years of experience in a joint or Service Headquarters organization

• Experience with conducting strategic-level planning for the U.S. Marine Corps

• Experience with U.S. Marine Corps Ground Combat Element (GCE) capabilities, posture, and operations

• Knowledge of technology related to Fires capabilities

• Ability to coordinate with multiple, non-matrixed stakeholders to gather data

• Ability to interface with other key stakeholders on issues related to allies and partners, international engagements, and strategic development

• TS/SCI clearance

• Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have: 

• 5+ years of experience in working with senior executive-level officials

• Knowledge of U.S. military considerations globally

• Possession of excellent research and analytic skills

• Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate across the civilian and military spectrum from the Action Officer to the General Officer and Flag Officer

• Master’s degree

• Graduate of Advanced-Intermediate Level School (SAW, SAMS, MAWS, SAASS)

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
