We’re looking to bring on a mid level Android engineer to help us with a big bet on our Voice platform in the new mobile app. As a member of the mobile team at Podium, you’ll work on a cross-disciplinary team using your knowledge to build native mobile applications that are used by tens of thousands of people each week. This role is fully remote, so if you like solving interesting problems and thrive in a hyper-growth setting, this is the role for you!

What you will be doing:

• Implement designs to create applications for the Android platform
• Attending daily standup and other meetings as needed
• Communicate effectively and proactively with stakeholders about your work
• Collaborate with team to plan and implement product roadmap
• Focus on quality, performance, and responsiveness of applications
• Use the latest technologies and Android APIs to create world-class applications

What you should have:

• 3+ years working as a mobile engineer in Kotlin / Jetpack. Bonus points for Jetpack Compose experience.
• Algorithms, data structures and coding background with a creative approach to testing and quality assurance.
• Experience with web infrastructure and distributed systems.
• Evidence of exposure to architectural patterns of a large, high-scale web application (e.g., well-designed APIs, high-volume data pipelines, efficient algorithms).
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally with product teams, design, and other engineers effectively in a remote setting.
