QA Automation Engineer

Job requirements

Role: QA Engineer
Years of Experience: 8+ years
Location: remote

Actively partner in design, planning and executing work on project and cross-platform efforts
Work closely with development, operations, support, business partners and other stake holders to ensure timely collaboration and resolution
Planning and prioritizing testing activities
Identify gaps and problem areas in the software application
Recommending automated software test procedures
Tracking software bugs and investigating the causes
Preparing automation scripts
Troubleshooting automation software issues
Creating test plans and test summary reports
Preparing detailed test reports
Prioritizing and executing tests
Executing regression and exploratory testing as necessary
Automation suite optimization
Review of Pull requests
Grooming the user stories with team members
Work independently under minimal guidance providing coaching and mentoring for junior’s team members
Source code management
Creation of knowledge bank on wiki/confluence
Selenium with Java, Cucumber framework, automation frameworks to integrate backend with RESTful API’s, Flyway, Bitbucket, Gitlab, Jenkins, Maven.
