  • 10+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics or manufacturing for a hardware device company
  • Experience managing strategic technical projects, with significant bottom-line impact
  • Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage trade-offs and evaluate new ideas
  • In this role you will lead internal engagements across Supply Chain, Engineering and new vehicle builds
  • You will work closely with Procurement, Product Operations, Hardware Engineering, Reliability Engineering, Product Management and other cross-functional teams to develop new supply chain tools and processes
  • You will be responsible for working with internal, cross functional customers/peers and leveraging internal capabilities across Aurora to scale a new business
  • The ideal candidate will have a large-scale technical supply chain management background, be detail-oriented, skilled at global supply chain strategies, and excel in creative problem solving, negotiations and program management
  • They will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, creatively solve complex issues and build scalable mechanisms of continuous improvement
  • Planning: forecasting, demand planning, supply planning, integrated business planning, manufacturing planning & execution
  • Supply chain network strategy: manufacturing & distribution network optimization, global trade
  • Inventory Management & Build Readiness: inventory strategy, segmentation, omnichannel, warehouse planning & operations
  • Logistics & Transportation: transportation planning & scheduling, route optimization, track & trace
  • Drive scalable processes and digital solutions, create and track accuracy and performance metrics (technical and business), create, enhance, and maintain supply chain mechanisms, and present to other stakeholders, engineers and business leaders, design processes and technical solutions
  • Drive implementation with cross functional partners
  • Clearly communicate supply and demand strategy to senior/executive stakeholders
  • Drive mechanisms and solutions to reduce and eliminate any short or long term gaps in supply plans
  • Identify resources needed across Operations and Supply Chain to support business scale
  • Recruit and staff resources as needed
  • Interface with cross-functional teams to assess current and future sourcing, planning and logistical requirements
  • Monitor and report supply chain costs
  • Identify opportunities to improve the supply chain processes and drive projects to completion
