Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or similar technical discipline
  • Minimum of 2 years of compliance or design related experience of consumer or commercial electromechanical products preferred
  • Entry level knowledge of regulatory standards or governmental regulations
  • Experience with participating in DFMEA sessions preferred
Responsibilities
  • Contribute to initiatives related to market surveillance activities
  • Evaluate marketplace data and consumer events for safety risks
  • Support certification projects for legacy product changes
  • Oversee recurring certification activities (EPA, Restricted & Regulated Chemicals)
  • Lead low and medium complexity product certification projects
  • Lead design reviews at key milestones for your projects
  • Present the status of your projects and associated project risks
  • Support preparation of executive review updates on all team activities
  • Operate comfortably in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining continuous track of key details
  • Multi-task, maintaining a continuous comprehensive understanding of project status
  • Present creative and technically sound solutions to complex problems
  • Analyze operations and promote continuous improvement initiatives
  • Work with conviction and demonstrate strength on key positions yet be able to collaborate and compromise where appropriate
  • Think independently with moderate supervision and generate ideas within their area of expertise
  • Make sound decisions utilizing all available information
  • Communicate complex technical information to audiences with varying technical understanding
  • Adapt well to change
