About the Role:
We’re looking for a motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing sales team. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for potential clients, identifying and qualifying leads for our field sales team. This is an exciting opportunity to launch your career in MedTech sales and progress into field sales roles. We are looking for a driven professional with sound business acumen, technical aptitude, and natural sales instincts to join our fast-growing sales team.
Responsibilities:
- Account Discovery: Conduct thorough research and discovery to identify key decision-makers and understand potential client needs.
- Lead Qualification: Engage with leads through various channels (phone, email, social media) to assess their interest and fit for our products and services. Effectively communicate the value proposition of Ceribell’s solutions, document their current situation, including specific needs and wants they may have, and provide a high-level overview of Ceibell’s capabilities
- Meeting Scheduling: Schedule and coordinate initial meetings between qualified leads and our sales team, ensuring a seamless transition to launch the sales process.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date account information in Salesforce (SFDC).
- Collaboration: Work closely with sales and marketing teams to develop and execute effective lead generation strategies.
- Pipeline Management: Track and manage your sales pipeline, ensuring leads are nurtured and progressed efficiently.
- Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our MedTech products and services to effectively communicate their value proposition.
- Objection Handling: Anticipate and address potential client objections in a professional and persuasive manner.
- Territory Management: Strategically manage and prioritize your assigned territory to maximize lead generation potential.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a sales development, lead generation, or customer service role.
- Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: The ability to effectively communicate, build rapport, and connect with people. This involves active listening, clear articulation, and adapting communication styles to suit different individuals. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Drive and Ambition: A self-starter with a strong desire to learn and succeed in a fast-paced sales environment. Ambitions to advance into field sales roles. A genuine enthusiasm for Ceribell’s products and a passion for helping customers find solutions. Daily activities will require the ability to select and schedule the highest-value targets while juggling multiple priorities,
- Adaptability and Problem-Solving Skills: A proactive approach to identifying and overcoming obstacles, adapting to changing situations, and finding creative solutions to challenges.
- Research Skills: Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to identify key information and trends.
- Resilience: The ability to handle rejection and stay motivated in the face of challenges.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Salesforce (SFDC) or similar CRM systems.
- Presentation Skills: Confidence in delivering presentations and articulating the value of our products and services.
A candidate’s final salary offer will be based on their skills, education, work location and experience, and thus it may differ from the posted range. Compensation may also include bonuses consistent with Ceribell’s corporate compensation plan.
