- Implement Robertson’s integrated quality, safety, health, environment, and quality policies with support teams and client requirements.
- Maintain profit-and-loss accountability for designated contracts in alignment with budgets, business objectives, and contract requirements.
- Manage and oversee relevant capital expenditure, operating expenditure, and lifecycle budgets and plans in line with commercial and operational requirements.
- Apply asset management practices.
- Maintain compliance records to a high standard in accordance with statutory requirements, contract service standards, and SHTMs.
- Establish defined health and safety responsibilities and accountability, and conduct regular reviews.
- Champion continuous improvement and identify issues that advance contract development, innovation, and best practices in line with Robertson processes.
- Encourage, coach, support, and manage effective employee performance, and develop people to meet personal and contract requirements.
- Plan, lead, and conduct a robust monthly schedule of contract, statutory, safety, health, environment, quality, and operational audits and workplace inspections.
- Develop relationships and partnerships with client management teams to ensure contract delivery.
- Monitor contract and team performance and provide formal monthly reports to the client and Robertson Facilities Management Operations Manager, confirming compliance and identifying issues, future workload, risks, and opportunities.
- Attend monthly operational meetings with the client to discuss performance.
- Oversee site operations, health, safety, wellbeing, and the commercial and financial profitability of hard facilities management services across County Community Hospital and Balfour Hospital.
- Maintain positive executive relationships with the end customer and ProjectCo special-purpose vehicle, and collaborate with colleagues to foster a positive, proactive, and progressive environment.

Robertson Group celebrates award wins. 3 July 2026 ROBERTSON Group has been recognised at the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) awards in London. Both Robertson Construction Group and Robertson Facilities Management (RFM) were celebrated for sustained excellence over the past year - with recognition spanning health and safety leadership, operational best practice, and environmental sustainability. RFM was named winner of the prestigious Facilities Management Sector Award, recognising organisations that demonstrate world-class safety performance, robust management systems and a strong safety culture. RFM also received the RoSPA Scotland Trophy, awarded to the highest-performing Scottish entrant within the sector categories, reflecting its consistent delivery of safe, high-quality services across public and private sector contracts. Additionally, RFM was commended in the Fall Prevention Trophy for innovation and best practice in reducing fall-related risks through training, systems and continuous improvement. The RFM team of 1,300 people look after over 4,500 buildings throughout the UK, and its expertise in lifecycle asset management enables it to deliver long-term value and reliability for its clients, Robertson said. Across all eight Robertson regional construction businesses and Robertson Partnership Homes, a shared commitment to health, safety and environmental excellence was recognised. Robertson Construction Group was commended in the Dilmun International Environmental Award for environmental performance. Robertson starts work on £750m UK supercomputer. 25/06/2026 Robertson Construction has started work on the construction of the UK's next generation national supercomputer, being built at the University of Edinburgh, with backing from UK Research and Innovation (UKRI).
Construction milestone for Elgin town centre regeneration project. 9 June 2026 FULL construction is now underway on the South Street regeneration project in Elgin following completion of preparatory works. The milestone follows enabling works including demolition and archaeological surveys. The project is a partnership between Moray Council, UHI Moray, Cairn Housing Association, and Robertson Property Ltd, and forms part of the wider Elgin City Centre Masterplan. The development includes the Moray Growth Deal's Business Enterprise Hub, with £750,000 of UK Government funding contributed by Pride in Place (Elgin Neighbourhood Board); 38 affordable one and two-bedroom flats as part of the Housing Mix Delivery; opportunities for three retail/commercial units, public realm, and a reinstated pedestrian link between South Street and High Street via Newmarket Close to align with other Levelling Up Fund projects. Both the Housing Mix Delivery and Business Enterprise Hub are strategic elements of the £100 million Moray Growth Deal funded by Scottish Government. The project has also received £5.06 million from the UK Government as part of the wider £18.3 million Levelling Up Fund for the Elgin City Centre Masterplan, and £3.9 million of Scottish Government Affordable Housing Supply funding (AHSP) for the affordable housing units. Moray Council, UHI Moray and Cairn Housing Association will each take responsibility for owning and managing different elements, with Moray Council overseeing the public realm, UHI Moray the Business Enterprise Hub, and Cairn Housing Association the housing as the Registered Social Landlord. Robertson Construction Northern commenced construction this week which will include closed panel timber frames with windows pre-fitted, manufactured off-site at Robertson Timber Engineering in Elgin.
