Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Perform credentialing and re-credentialing activities according to policies and procedures.
  • Send forms and related documentation, and track and follow up to ensure timely return of information.
  • Gather information and research discrepancies; scrutinize documents for consistency and accuracy.
  • Monitor healthcare practitioner licensing boards and federal and state reporting sites.
  • Review comprehensive written documents and write concise, accurate summaries.
  • Prepare and maintain files ensuring all documentation meets standards to demonstrate policies and procedures are followed and decisions are documented.
  • Educate providers on the completion of forms and required submissions.
  • Prepare reports and templates using Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
  • Enter data into several databases.
  • Respond to telephone inquiries.
  • Provide the highest possible level of service to clients.
  • Promote teamwork and cooperative effort among employees.
  • Maintain safe practices.
  • Abide by the HealthPlan’s policies and procedures.
Desired Qualifications
