Responsibilities
  • Perform mold and die changes according to production schedules.
  • Install, remove, and secure molds in injection molding machines.
  • Verify proper machine settings and startup conditions before releasing equipment to production.
  • Troubleshoot mold setup, startup, and processing issues to minimize downtime.
  • Perform first-piece inspections and support quality verification during startup.
  • Complete mold cleaning and preventive maintenance activities as required.
  • Safely operate overhead cranes, hoists, and mold handling equipment.
  • Maintain accurate setup, changeover, and maintenance records.
  • Assist Process Technicians and Maintenance personnel with equipment troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout requirements.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 5S standards.
  • Support continuous improvement activities to reduce setup times and improve productivity.
