- Extensive SEO knowledge, with a strong on-page and off-page background. Having a good understanding of technical SEO is also beneficial
- Proven SEO experience, preferably for a consumer brand with thousands of landing pages across multiple country specific websites
- Well versed in the creation of SEO content roadmaps to capture short and long tail demand as well as experience in creating link-worthy content
- Experience with website audits, competitors analysis and developing and implementing a content strategy that aligns with the company's overall goals and objectives
- Exposure to advanced SEO tools and A/B testing tools
- Strong collaboration skills and eager to work cross-functionally and evangelise channel best practices
- Multilingual skills will be a nice to have
- Inform the longtail content strategy based on SEO research, performance, trends and insights, being able to determine the strategic direction of content campaigns for the business
- Work cross-functionally to ensure the Skyscanner site is setup to meet the optimal criteria of search engine algorithms while improving accessibility, visibility, rank, relevancy, and user experience
- Plan and implement link building campaigns in collaboration with internal teams such as PR and Content Marketing teams, as well as third-party agencies
- Monitor and analyse website performance and SEO metrics to measure the effectiveness of content efforts and link building campaigns
- Work with other SEO managers to perform keyword research in order to accelerate organic search growth at global and local level
- Be a subject matter expert for the company on the latest SEO developments and trends
