Intuitive Surgical specializes in robotic-assisted surgery and minimally invasive care. Their main products are robotic surgical systems that help doctors perform surgeries with more accuracy and less physical strain. These systems work by allowing surgeons to control robotic arms with precision, which can lead to smaller incisions and quicker recovery times for patients. Unlike many competitors, Intuitive focuses not only on selling these robotic systems but also on providing ongoing support through service contracts and the sale of instruments and accessories. The company's goal is to enhance patient outcomes and broaden the use of minimally invasive techniques in surgery.
