Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience, or a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, computer engineering, systems engineering, or a related field/major with three additional years of information-technology experience.
  • Professional software development experience designing, developing, and maintaining secure, scalable, mission-focused applications.
  • Professional programming experience with Python, Java, and Scala.
  • Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs, Git-based workflows, automated unit, integration, and system testing, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software delivery practices.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker/containerization, microservice architectures, Helm, and development container environments.
  • Exposure to generative artificial intelligence technologies, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation, large language models, and large-language-model-enabled workflows.
  • Experience designing, deploying, and supporting cloud-native applications using AWS, OpenShift, or Kubernetes.
  • Experience integrating, transforming, and managing data from multiple sources, organizations, and network environments.
  • Ability to work within new or complex network environments.
  • Practical experience applying DevSecOps principles, including code hardening, dependency and package updates, vulnerability remediation, and automated security scanning.
  • Ability to troubleshoot software and collaborate across development, infrastructure, security, and mission teams.
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance is required.
Responsibilities
  • Integrate multiple data streams into the customer system.
  • Complete cloud platform migrations between currently existing and available platforms.
  • Develop artificial-intelligence features for existing ontology-based software applications.
  • Create sustainable software applications by estimating work accurately, using efficient branching strategies, and maintaining code repositories.
  • Work as a member of an Agile Scrum team and participate in regular Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, planning, sprint reviews, demonstrations, and retrospectives.
  • Implement requirements from the product backlog.
  • Assist in writing backlog requirements and user stories.
  • Use a modern DevSecOps approach to build software applications.
  • Develop and modify applications, software, services, utilities, interfaces, and information-technology systems that support systems and analysts.

  • Familiarity with data normalization, transformation, and visualization techniques.
  • Basic understanding of graph-based data models, data relationships, and advanced data structures.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
  • Experience developing and presenting technical updates, metrics, or status reports.
