Requirements
  • A high school diploma is required.
  • One of the following minimum qualifications is required: Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA).
  • Experience in a medical office setting is listed as 2–4 years but is not required.
  • The employee must maintain required and requested training, demonstrate knowledge of emergency procedures, and comply with agency policies and procedures.
  • Driving and travel may be required.
Responsibilities
  • Help patients by providing information, services, and assistance.
  • Verify patient information by interviewing patients, recording medical history, and confirming the purpose of visits, including demographics, insurance coverage, referrals, and prior authorizations.
  • Organize the flow of individuals for appointments, accompany individuals to and from treatment areas, and notify necessary staff of arrivals.
  • Prepare patients for appointments by taking blood pressure, weight, and temperature, and conduct medication reconciliation.
  • Assist providers with office procedures.
  • Secure patient information and maintain confidentiality by completing and safeguarding medical records and completing diagnostic and procedure coding.
  • Schedule appointments, verify appointment times with patients, and prepare charts.
  • Respond to verbal and electronic requests for information and assistance using proper policies, reference tools, and provider instructions.
  • Process prescription refills and direct or instruct individuals and family members regarding prescription and treatment instructions according to provider guidelines and orders.
  • Administer medication injections as ordered in the electronic health record and follow applicable nursing protocols.
  • Perform urine drug screen testing as ordered in the electronic health record and follow applicable nursing protocols.
  • Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following standards, procedures, and legal regulations.
  • Maintain equipment and supplies, troubleshoot breakdowns, perform preventive maintenance, and call for repairs.
  • Protect the practice by adhering to professional standards, facility policies and procedures, and federal, state, and local requirements.
  • Accept ownership of new and different requests and explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of emergency procedures and assist in crisis situations.
  • Complete other relevant responsibilities assigned by the supervisor.

Fontana Reports $835.9M Gross Profit Growth

Fontana Limited reported a Q3 2025 gross profit of $835.9 million, a 15.2% increase from the previous year, driven by a 15.3% rise in revenue to $2.2 billion.
