Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- A technical certification in maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing environment is required.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems is required.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics is required.
- Proficiency using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment is required.
- Ability to work independently and solve problems is required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform required physical tasks is required.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as necessary, is required.
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on production machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Maintain an inventory of spare parts and supplies for repairs.
- Document all maintenance activities and repairs in the maintenance management system.
- Collaborate with production personnel to minimize downtime during repairs.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance processes.
- Train and mentor junior staff as necessary.
