Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Healthcare Administration, or similar field.
  • 1-3 years of experience using SQL; Python & PowerBI is a plus.
  • Familiarity with healthcare data and ontologies such as ICD-10, RXNorm, and SNOMED.
  • Exposure to ML/AI preferred.
  • Strong understanding of relational databases.
  • Attention to detail and ability to produce high quality work independently.
  • Start-up mindset that allows you to shift gears quickly.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct detailed ad hoc analyses to address specific business questions or challenges. This may include data extraction, manipulation, and reporting.
  • Use Databricks, SQL, and Excel to collect and analyze data.
  • Work closely with senior analysts, healthcare professionals, and other team members to understand analysis requirements and provide data-driven insights.
  • Verify data integrity and accuracy of outputs independently and by maintaining best practices such as code review.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of methodologies, processes, and findings to support reproducibility and knowledge sharing.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in healthcare analytics and data science.
