Requirements

B.S. degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience
Knowledge of one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Java, C/C++, or Go
Knowledge of LDAP, Kerberos, TLS, certificates, and/or related technologies
Experience working in Unix/Linux environments
2+ years relevant experience in implementing security-related systems (e.g., Kerberos, LDAP, TLS, SSL)
Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English

Responsibilities

Desired Qualifications

Master's or PhD degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience
Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Java, C/C++, or Go
5+ years of general software development experience, experiences with distributed and/or storage
Familiarity with general principles around authorization, and protocols and best practices to secure data
Working experience with Apache Hadoop, Apache Spark, Apache Mesos, YARN, Sqoop, Sentry, Ranger, Atlas
Experience in addressing scale and performance problems
Knowledge of Alluxio and its ecosystem
Contributed or contributing to Alluxio

Minimum Qualifications
