Responsibilities
  • Lead the US sales team to deliver sales in line with targets
  • Prepare a sales plan and strategy for US sales
  • Utilize TELUS Premier Sales Organization process to manage sales targets
  • Participate in business development opportunities, including client pursuits and RFPs
  • Recruit, select, and onboard staff as identified in the plan
  • Adjust sales plans proactively if targets are not achieved
  • Track sales team metrics and share them with leadership
  • Collaborate with marketing and channel development teams for lead generation
  • Maintain a network by approaching potential clients and participating in industry events
  • Meet with the team regularly to review performance and targets
  • Enforce Premier Sales Organization processes and ensure adherence by the team
  • Plan and preside over regular growth team meetings

TELUS Launches $1.6 Billion Junior Subordinated Note Offering

TELUS has announced the pricing of $1.6 billion in fixed-to-fixed rate junior subordinated notes through a syndicate of agents. These notes, issued in two series with a 30.25-year maturity, are intended to help the company repay outstanding debts and support general corporate purposes. The Series CAR notes have an initial yield of 6.25% and the Series CAS notes have an initial yield of 6.75%, with both series having mechanisms to reset interest rates every five years. The issuance of these notes is expected to enhance TELUS’s financial flexibility and strengthen its market position.
