  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, economics, finance, accounting or related discipline
  • 5-10 years of relevant Corporate and Investment Banking work experience including M&A, global markets and capital markets (debt and equity) transactions, structured finance, fund financing and transaction banking
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Sovereign Wealth Funds & Financial Sponsors dynamics, financing requirements and client buying behaviors
  • Strong knowledge of CIB products (structured finance, fund financing, global markets, mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity capital markets, transaction banking, etc.), financial analysis, credit analysis and experience in deal origination and execution
  • Driven and capable of delivering results while working under pressure and adjust quickly to changing priorities

Responsibilities
  • Participate in the financial analysis conducted on clients and their respective industries/markets to identify potential opportunities and risks
  • Work with respective Executive Directors to develop the team’s strategy and business plan with the aim of increasing the Bank’s share of the target clients’ wallet and achieving target relationship returns
  • Keep close interaction with Product teams, and other stakeholders, to maximize business opportunities with clients, and to streamline execution of deals and strategies
  • Contribute to talent development initiatives for the assigned department, collaborating with technical/discipline experts and thereby ensure the availability of talent to fit business requirements
  • Act as a role model and drive adherence to organizational values and ethics by employees of the assigned department to foster a value driven culture within the Group
  • Manage P&L responsibility of the assigned portfolio, achieving targets within defined budget levels
  • Manage and ensure effective implementation of the CIB functional policies, procedures and controls covering all areas of assigned department activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements, fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service
  • Participate in the financial analysis conducted on clients and their respective industries/markets to identify potential opportunities and risks
  • Assist in originating new business opportunities with target clients across banking products
  • Develop and execute Term Sheet, Information Memorandum, financial modelling, mandate letter, etc.
  • Examine & resolve credit, market and operational risk aspects of the transactions in collaboration with products and enablement units
  • Assist in pitching, reviewing, negotiating and concluding deals
  • Motivate, Develop and Coach junior team members
  • Maintain the credit quality of the clients' relationships within the Portfolio to an acceptable level set by the Bank’s management
  • Achieve individual and team financial performance targets
  • Identify & develop cross selling opportunities and increase the cross-sell ratio with key clients
  • Ensure Account Plans are prepared and maintained for all key clients
  • Ensure all clients’ files /documents are maintained
  • Ensure all credit reviews are submitted on time and agreed conditions are met
  • Maintain a satisfactory audit on the portfolio
  • Learning & Development – Attend appropriate on and off-the-job training programs and ensure development and skill upgradation of team members
  • Ensure that all internal processes for existing portfolio and NTBs are met in line with the Bank’s policies & procedures
  • Adhere to process KPI’s and, ORM, BCP & Internal Audit requirements
  • Assist the respective Managing Directors and Executive Directors in the day-to-day administrative and transactional activities to ensure continuity of work and the delivery of effective and high-quality outputs
  • Manage and follow up on KYC and compliance requirements in order to ensure consistency with the Bank’s KYC and AML policies and regulatory requirements
  • Follow all relevant policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
  • Review and analyze financial statements, MIS and reports to keep track of performance vs. budgets
  • Functions within the framework and boundaries of Group policies as well as overall organizational and governance frameworks

DAE secures $2.8B unsecured credit facilities, boosting total capacity to $4B

Dubai Aerospace Enterprise has signed agreements for $2.8 billion in new long-term, unsecured revolving credit facilities, replacing an existing $1.4 billion facility. The new facilities, maturing in March 2031, increase DAE's total revolving credit facility capacity to approximately $4 billion. The facilities comprise $2.3 billion in conventional funding and $500 million in Shari'a-compliant liquidity from 15 global financial institutions. Emirates NBD and First Abu Dhabi Bank acted as coordinators on the conventional facility, whilst Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank arranged the Shari'a-compliant facility. DAE is a global aviation services company with two divisions operating aircraft leasing and maintenance services. The company manages a fleet of approximately 750 aircraft valued at $25 billion, serving over 200 airline customers across more than 80 countries.

Olam unit secures $1.2B dual-tranche loan facility for refinancing

Olam Food Ingredients (ofi), a wholly owned subsidiary of Olam Group, has secured a €1.1 billion (S$1.6 billion) inaugural dual-tranche syndicated loan facility. The facility comprises a two-year €450 million revolving credit tranche with a one-year extension option and a three-year €650 million term loan tranche. Proceeds will be used to refinance ofi's existing loans and for general corporate purposes. Eleven banks participated in the facility, with Banco Santander, Commonwealth Bank of Australia (Europe) and DZ Bank serving as lead arrangers. HSBC has been appointed facility agent. Olam Group shares ended 0.6 per cent higher at S$0.875 on Tuesday.
