Requirements
  • Electrical Engineer with strong background in lighting systems, electrical control systems, and/or switchgear
  • Design, develop, and oversee electrical systems for commercial, industrial, or institutional projects
  • Strong technical knowledge and design proficiency
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Experience with preparing electrical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications using CAD or electrical design software
  • Perform load calculations, short circuit studies, and system coordination analysis
  • Select and specify electrical equipment, lighting fixtures, control panels, and switchgear components
  • Ensure designs comply with applicable codes including NEC, NFPA, IEEE, and client requirements
  • Collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, contractors, and vendors to coordinate design and construction activities
  • Conduct site visits for field inspections, commissioning, and troubleshooting
  • Review and approve shop drawings and submittals
  • Assist with cost estimation, project scheduling, and procurement activities
  • Provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle
  • This position offers 3 days of remote work each week
  • Salary range provided: 115000 to 145000 USD per year
Responsibilities
