Responsibilities
  • Analyze, design, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and reduce waste.

  • Conduct thorough investigations to identify root causes of process inefficiencies or quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure that process changes and improvements are documented accurately, and comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements (ISO, FDA).
  • Provide guidance and training to team members on process improvement methodologies and tools, ensuring a culture of continuous improvement is fostered.
Desired Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in industrial engineering or process optimization within a manufacturing or operations environment (experience in medical device manufacturing is a plus).
  • Strong working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and continuous improvement processes.
  • Experience with data analysis and statistical tools (e.g., Minitab, Excel, SPC).
  • Proficient in workflow design, capacity planning, and time study techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a data-driven mindset.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
  • Experience in the medical device industry or other highly regulated environments.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt (or higher certification).
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 13485, FDA) and how they impact engineering and manufacturing processes.
  • Project management experience and familiarity with tools like MS Project or similar.
